Gold Ground Cherry Filled Shortcakes

Gold ground cherries
Grand ier or Cointreau
Pinch of sugar
Individual white Savoy cakes
« Preparation »
- Cut cach ground cherry in half. Put them in a bowl with the sugar and the liqueur and let soak for several hours.
- Just before serving, whip the cream with the poinch of sugar and divide it equally among the small cakes.
- Drain the ground cherries, keeping the liquid to flavor the coffee.
- Place the ground cherries on the whipped cream and serve.
