Onion and Gold Ground cherry Jam

« Ingredients »
500 g
750 g
100 g
350 g
100 ml
50 ml
150 ml

Gold ground cherries
Sliced red onions
Butter
Maple syrup
Cider vinegar
Wine (homemade, Le Ricaneux)
Red wine
Pinch of salt

« Preparation »
  1. Cook the onions and the ground cherries in the butter.
  2. Add the maple syrup and cook for 30 mins., stirring often.
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients and cook until it has a syrupy thickness.
  4. Use, with steamed rabbit or game animal pâté.
