- Envelope in a cheedecloth the following: the cinnamon, the cloves, the nutmeg and the pepper seeds.
- Place all the liquids and the brown sugar in a stainless steel casserole dish and let cook slowly 20 minutes approximately with the spices.
- Add the ground cherries and cook for 45 mins or until well-cooked.
- Pour into little, sterilized, glass jars and store to accompany a roast of bison or any other game meat.
